Five OTPS (and why you need to read these books right away!)
(We figured 2 people per couple x 5 = 10, right? Hah!)
5 Lou and Will from Me Before You by JoJo Moyes (Penguin)
Ok, like almost everyone else out there, I powered through Me Before You after the trailer for the upcoming moving came out.
I was prepared to hate the book for a number of reasons, but Lou and Will won me over as the book progressed. I loved that they came to love each other after some initial obstacles.
Also, it may just be my Sam Claflin-love speaking, but I can TOTALLY see him as Will. A+ job, casting directors.
4. Rachel and Ben from You Had Me at Hello by Mhairi McFarlane (HarperCollins)
I don't think a lot of YA readers have read Mhairi's books, so if you haven't: you are missing out.
Rachel and Ben are adorable. The book kicks off with a prank wedding proposal to get out of writing a paper - seriously - and it gets even better from there.
I loved this book, and you totally will too.
3 Defending Taylor of Miranda Kenneally (Sourcebooks)
2 Catherine and Henry from Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
I know that a lot of people think that Lizzie and Darcy are the most epic Austen couple, but it's Catherine and Henry for me.
Read them if you want a quirky couple that understands each other, aren't afraid to challenge each other especially when they're wrong, and end up finding true love with one another!
1. Percy and Annabeth from The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan (Disney Hyperion)
Percy and Annabeth are one of my favorite couples.
They support each other, challenge each other, defend each other, and won't let anything separate them. They're also fiercely loyal to their friends and Camp Half-Blood and Jupiter, which is important on so, so many levels.
Read EVERY book with them.
