We meet again, Wednesday, my arch foe. Just kidding.
Anyway, our WoW this week is the delightful-sounding When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon. I'm kind of cheating since I just downloaded the galley off of Edelweiss this morning, but I really AM looking forward to this.
Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine. It’s a weekly meme that allows bloggers to talk about what upcoming book they’re most looking forward to read!
Expected publication: May 30th 2017 by Simon Pulse
Rishi Patel is a hopeless romantic. So when his parents tell him that his future wife will be attending the same summer program as him—wherein he’ll have to woo her—he’s totally on board. Because as silly as it sounds to most people in his life, Rishi wants to be arranged, believes in the power of tradition, stability, and being a part of something much bigger than himself.
Why I'm waiting:
Second, the plot sounds amazing. It feels a little trite saying that Sandhya is exploring cultural norms in a humorous context and relating them to a mainstream audience, but that's what I genuinely believe, and... just more of this, please.
